Goodbye Shea

On Wednesday night we went to the Met's game. It was a night of firsts and lasts for us. Matthew went on the train for the first time, and he LOVED it. As we were getting on the train, he saw an Elmo poster on the platform...well at every stop he looked out the window to see if he could find more Elmo's, which he did...Too cute!!!
It was also our last time at Shea Stadium, as the Met's will have a new home next year, Citifield. As you can see from the picture below, Citifield is just about ready for some baseball to played there in Spring 2009. So we had a great time, even though the "Bums" lost. Ugh, it's been tough being a Met's fan! It seemed so wierd that it would be the last time we would sit there and watch a game. There are so many memories that we have from going to games over the years.
Well, now we will have to start making new memories at Citifield.

Hope everyone enjoyed the tour of our day at Shea.

Good bye Shea Stadium, thanks for all of the great memories!!!

Hey guys!

The blog looks so great Jenn! You'll be a pro in no time flat. : ) It looks like you guys had a nice time at the game. Paul actually was telling me to call Uncle Ted to rub in the Mets not making the playoffs, lol.

Love all the pics of the kids - gorgeous as always!

Love you guys!
